I have encountered error Code 483 when processing my visit.


If you receive the error code 483 and unable to book tickets for Madame Tussauds, please try the below;
1 – Use another devise (phone or computer)
2 – If you are booking a combination ticket, you can purchase the tickets from the SEA LIFE Blackpool or Blackpool Tower and make a time reservation for Madame Tussauds (see below)
3 – If points 1&2 have not worked, you can make a reservation by visiting www.madametussauds.com/blackpool/en/buy-tickets/ and select Other tickets at the bottom of the page and select the date and time you wish to visit. We will then take payment on the day of your visit (Please note the payment will be on the day prices of £17.50 an Adult, £14.50 a Child and £58 for a group of 4)

 

I didn’t receive a confirmation email, but payment has been debited from my bank account?


Please email our guest services team, who will check to see if the booking has come through to the system. If the payment is pending in your account and you have not received a confirmation email, the bank may have ring fenced your funds. If you lose signal during the payment stage our web store will cancel your transaction, however the bank will hold the money for up to 3 days as a precaution in case payment is taken. Usually funds are released back into your account by the bank within 3 days.

 

Multi Attraction Tickets

When purchasing a multi-attraction ticket, the time and date selected will be the reservation for the attraction website you are booking on.

To book a date and time for another attraction on combinations tickets, please visit your booking portal by signing in online or via your confirmation email.

 

I’ve already booked my tickets for Monday 14th and will be in a group of six or more, what should I do?

In line with updated advice from central Government, from 14th September we encourage all our guests to help protect themselves and each other when visiting our attractions and adhere to Government guidance around not meeting in groups of more than six people*.

As a COVID-19 Secure venue we can still host larger numbers in total but groups of up to 6 must not mix or form larger groups.

We understand that you may not be able to now visit due to these new restrictions. If this is the case please contact our customer services team to discuss moving or changing your booking.

 

Face Coverings

Where mask wearing is required, any guests over the age of 11* without a valid exemption will not be permitted to ride or enter any enclosed buildings without a mask.**

This is in line with recent updated UK Government advice and regulations across England. We encourage all our guests to help protect themselves and each other when visiting our attractions.

* Children under 11, people with certain health conditions and people with a disability are exempt. 

** Guests who simply do not wish to wear a mask will now be refused boarding or entry into enclosed buildings. In those areas such as F&B seated areas guests will be allowed to remove their masks to consumed food and beverages when seated.

 

Fast Track Entry


Madame Tussauds Blackpool is currently operating timed entry into the attraction, the fast track queue is not currently operational as we ask all guests to visit the attraction for the reserved time.

 

Merlin Annual Pass Reservations


All Merlin Annual Pass holders are required to book a time reservation online before visiting the attraction, you will then need to show the reservation and Annual Pass Cards to the team on our admissions entrance. To make your reservation please visit; www.madametussauds.com/blackpool/en/buy-tickets/ and select Annual Pass Holders to book the date and time of your visit.

I did not receive a confirmation email?

If you did not receive a confirmation email, please bring with you your booking confirmation number that appeared on the final booking screen.

If you have lost your booking confirmation number don't worry. Just go to the Priority Access Entrance with the credit card you booked with.

Please note, to help eliminate fraud: for all Online bookings, please make sure you bring the credit card you paid with along with you. If somebody else paid, please bring a signed letter from the card holder.

You will not receive tickets in the post. Please bring your order confirmation number or email confirmation with you to Madame Tussauds.

How do 2 for 1 promotional tickets work?

Ticket promotions that give you a free ticket with the purchase of an adult ticket are always based on the full price adult ticket. These promotions are only valid with tickets purchased on the day and not tickets booked in advance or online. Please check the promotion's terms and conditions carefully prior to your visit and ensure you bring a valid voucher on the day of your visit. If you have a 2-for-1 voucher you must present this on arrivival.

How many people does a group of 4 ticket cover?

A Group of 4 ticket must include 1 adult per group. Adults are 15 years and over. Children are 3-14 years old inclusive. Under 3’s enter free.

Food and drink

Can I take food and drink into Madame Tussauds?
You are not permitted to drink food and drink into Madame Tussauds however a variety of food and drink is available to purchase in the Rovers Return - our fully functioning bar. 

How long can I normally expect a visit to last?

It takes around 2 hours to complete a visit of Madame Tussauds.

Valuables

We suggest not bringing any valuables into the attraction; if you do not need them, do not bring them. If you must, please keep them in a safe place.

Can I take a pet in to Madame Tussauds?

No animals or pets are permitted into Madame Tussauds. However, we do permit seeing eye dogs, guide dogs and hearing eye dogs.

Can I take a push chair or buggy around Madame Tussauds?

Families are advised that Madame Tussauds Blackpool spans four floors therefore negotiating the attraction with a push chair can be difficult. However, we do have a buggy park available at the attraction. 

Am I allowed to touch the figures?

We ask all guests not to touch our figures, however you are able to stand next to them to get a photo.

Can I bring a camera?

Cameras are allowed in all areas of Madame Tussauds. If you are a camera crew and you require to film in our premises please contact our press office for further information (0207 487 0200).

Are there official Madame Tussauds Photographers?

Yes. There are photograph opportunities throughout Madame Tussauds to ensure you take home an everlasting with your favourite celebrity. Photograph collection point is located at the end of the attraction.

Can I buy photographs at Madame Tussauds?

Yes. You can also purchase mouse mats, key rings, mugs and glass cubes. Photograph collection point is located at the end of the attraction.

Disabled access

Can I bring a guide dog, eye or hearing dog to Madame Tussauds?
We do permit seeing eye dogs, guide dogs and hearing eye dogs.

Is there wheelchair access throughout Madame Tussauds?

There is full disabled access throughout Madame Tussauds, however we are limited to the number of wheelchairs within the attraction at any one time. Please call the attraction ahead of your visit to let us know. 
Larger moterised wheelchairs may not be able to access all areas of the attraction, however there are two wheelchairs on site that can be loaned out free of charge.
