WE'RE OPEN! Covid-19 Update: In line with updated advice from the UK Government, from the 14th September we encourage all guests to adhere to the latest guidance and not meet in groups of more than six people* to help protect themselves and each other when visiting our attraction. As a COVID-19 Secure venue we can still host larger numbers in total but groups of up to 6 must not mix or form larger groups. On 20th March, in line with the Government’s response to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, we took the decision to close Madame Tussauds Blackpool. This decision was taken to protect the health and wellbeing of you, your teams, and our guests.

Looking for inspiration to give your pupils a day out they’ll never forget? Madame Tussauds Blackpool, set on Blackpool’s famous Promenade, provides a truly unique out-of-classroom learning experience.
Where else can your pupils come face to face with Britain's most famous faces? Brian Cox will educate scientific explorers on the wonders of the universe. From orbiting planets and moons, black holes to multiverses – the secrets of our solar system will be revealed right in front of their eyes via our amazing solar system hologram. Come face to face with Marvel superheroes Thor, The Incredible Hulk and Spiderman and team up with them to save the day! Pupils can be inspired to follow their dreams as they mingle with world famous pop stars like Olly Murs and Ed Sheeran or meet their sporting heroes such as Sir Mo Farah and Lewis Hamilton.
The figures at Madame Tussauds Blackpool offer school visitors exciting opportunities to approach KS 1 – KS4 curriculum areas from different perspectives and disciplines, enabling pupils to get up close and personal with their favourite stars.

We encourage all school trips that visit us to come armed with digital cameras and I pads to get the most out of their day and use the material back at school to improve their knowledge and skills.
Photography: We have a fantastic free downloadable resource for teachers to use with their students which shows them how explore and improve their skills when taking photographs. It covers pre visit and post visit learning opportunities and compliments a visit to the attraction. We will even send some prizes out if you send any work to us!
