  • As the studio manager at Madame Tussauds New York he oversees a team of 7 artists who work to maintain the impeccable magic Madame Tussauds is known for. He helps to curate the attraction, sources outfits and set pieces, and works daily on figure maintenance all while keeping up with celebrity news and current events. Working hand in hand with the in-house marketing team he creates one of a kind experiences for the million plus guests that come through the door.
  • He received a BFA from the University of Minnesota and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
  • As an artist Matt has shown his own work around the country in group and solo shows for over 20 years. His most recent show “Cruel Summer” was at Andrew Rafacz Gallery in Chicago Il in 2019. His own work is a mixture of sculpture, painting, and assemblage.
