Operations Updates and Frequently Asked Questions

Madame Tussauds Orlando is taking all possible steps to continue to ensure the safety and well being of our guests and staff as needed. This includes implementing enhanced cleaning regimens throughout the wax museum. Hand sanitizing stations will also be available and our staff are washing their hands thoroughly on a regular regimen. We will be limiting capacity in-line with government recommendations. In accordance with local government ordinances, face coverings must be worn over your mouth and nose by all guests 2-years and older. During your visit, Madame Tussauds Orlando is only accepting contactless payment methods and the use of debit/credit cards to combat the spread of COVID-19. Please do not visit the wax museum if you are displaying COVID-19 symptoms, living with someone who is, or if you are feeling ill.



Why are face coverings required? 

Madame Tussauds Orlando is requiring the use of face coverings in accordance with county requirements. Face coverings must be worn over mouth and nose. Those 2 years old or younger, or who have a health condition that would get worse if a mask is worn are exempt from this requirement.

How will social distancing measures be enforced? 

Guests will be guided with directional markings, allowing them to better distance themselves while exploring the attraction. Our employees will also remind guests to maintain a respectful distance when necessary. 

What attractions or offerings are currently changed?

As an added safety measure, some attractions are temporarily limiting interactive elements such a photo props.

What forms of payment will be accepted? 

We are only accepting contactless payment methods and the use of debit/credit cards to combat the spread of COVID -19. 


Can I reschedule and visit at a later date? 

If you have purchased tickets for the dates when we will be closed, you may use these tickets for any future date through December 31, 2020. When you decide to visit, simply present your unused ticket at any ticket counter. Advance reservations may be required. 

What if I bought my ticket from another seller/website? 

If your travel plans were arranged by a third party, including travel agents, travel-booking websites, or other businesses independent of Madame Tussauds Orlando, you will need to contact those suppliers directly to understand their policies and any applicable fees for changing or canceling a reservation. 

What if I had planned a school field trip, group visit or birthday party?

How did the closure of Madame Tussauds Orlando impact Annual Passes? 

We have extended Annual Passes to ensure you enjoy your entire year of awesome at Madame Tussauds Orlando. 


Can I take a baby stroller to Madame Tussauds?

Yes! The only restriction is they need to remain under 36" in width.

Can I take any animals or pets to Madame Tussauds?

No animals or pets are not permitted into Madame Tussauds. However, we do permit Service Animals.

Is Madame Tussauds wheelchair accessible?

The entire attraction is wheelchair accessible; however, we do not have wheelchairs available on site. We ask that you provide your own wheelchair if needed.

Can I take a camera to Madame Tussauds?

We encourage taking many photos! Cameras are permitted in all public areas of Madame Tussauds. If you are a film crew or press and need access to the attraction, please contact our press office for further information.


The use of strobe lights and strobe affects are used throughout the attraction.  For the safety of our guests, the carrying of firearms, weapons or combustible/flammable/explosive items of any kind into Madame Tussauds, is strictly prohibited.
