Is this the 'Summer of Smosh'?
On July 22, the comedy duo's first feature film will premiere at Westwood Village Theater in Los Angeles. The premiere will see numerous YouTube celebrities walking the red carpet. When it comes time for Ian Hecox and Anthony Padilla to take the walk attendees will likely be seeing double.
Madame Tussauds San Francisco is thrilled to announce the public debut of our wax figures honoring Hecox and Padilla will be on the red carpet. As the stars pass by the figures into the theater they'll have an opportunity to pose alongside the figures.
The film premiere is being held in conjunction with VidCon in Anaheim this weekend. The conference representing online video creators will be the next stop for our figures. The 20,000-plus attendees to the event can expect to find the Madame Tussauds' Smosh figures popping up at various booths throughout the event.
If you're attending VidCon use the hashtag #SmoshWaxed, so we can share your experience with the Smosh fans who can't make it.
If you'd like to be among the first people to see the Smosh figures at a brand new interactive exhibit inside Madame Tussauds San Francisco sign up on the below form. We'll be inviting a select few to join us at the official unveiling in August.
